I grew up In a part of the world where the exotic taste of Turkish coffee is offered in every household. After immigrating to the USA  and settling in the Bay Area in the late 1970s, I found it difficult to enjoy a decent cup of Joe since fresh tasting coffee was almost nowhere to be found.

After visiting Café’s in other countries from Stockholm to Paris and Milan to Vienna I concluded that  better coffee exists. The way it was served very much depends on the barista aka local. Better coffee is not what you get off shelves in the supermarkets, mass produced in giant roasting plants. Good coffee must be freshly roasted. Ground just minutes before brewing. Ideally, do it yourself with carefully picked green beans, roasted in small batches is the road to the ultimate experience.    

Every Saturday morning we hitch our “Coffee Monster” trailer Headed to Berkeley Farmers Market. We provide the market patrons with freshly roasted Organic coffee. Our beans are roasted 24 hours Ahead. Some times a little more depends on the blend requirements to rest in what is called Degassing. At time of brew the coffee is reached its maximum potential to deliver body, aroma and its pleasant to the palate. 

We Roast  Coffee On the spot using our patented drum roaster . The first  BBQ roaster with temperature probe inserted inside the drum. The probe close proximity to the beans provides  us with improved data accuracy. This allows for better data collection on particular beans profiles and provides ability to match for consistency.  At time of roasting temperature reading helps with knowing the actual condition of the beans
